Albert has 18 years of boxing experience. He started boxing at the age of 10 and had the opportunity to compete in the World Championships, Goodwill Games and Pan American Games. His extensive amateur career culminated at the 1996 Olympic Games, where he represented the United States as a member of the United States Olympic Boxing Team.
Albert joined Ringside in 1999 as their Marketing Coordinator, where he serves as Tournament Coordinator for the National Silver Gloves, participates in product development and organizes Ringside's marketing ventures. Albert is also one of the coaches for Team Ringside, the company's training/managing organization for upcoming boxers.
